Product Description

The Ford New Transit Medium Axle Medium Roof Custody Ambulance is modified with the Ford New Transit Medium Axle Medium Roof model launched by Jiangling Ford. This model uses Ford ECO petrol engine, which can reach 156km/h; Bosch ABS+EBD+ESP, which can actively detect and analyse the road conditions; load-bearing high-steel body, which adopts high-strength galvanized sheet material, high-steel chassis casting, and multiple cross beams to increase the strength; the overall body has low center of gravity and is more stable, which can effectively ensure the safety of the driver. The medical cabin is spacious and reasonably designed; the whole vehicle adopts the domestic leading medical vehicle modification technology, including ambulance system, warning system, cabinet system, electrical system, etc. It is suitable for all kinds of hospitals and first aid centres, and is especially suitable for patients’ transfer, first aid and guardianship in the city.

High safety performance

Body structure: Boron steel reinforced body with high crash safety (passed Euro NCAP test), some models are equipped with active safety features such as ESP, ABS+EBD, reversing radar.

Medical equipment fixation: Specialised slide rails and quick-release brackets ensure that equipment (e.g. defibrillators, oxygen cylinders) are not displaced during emergency braking.

Emergency Configuration: standard with police light siren, optional 360° panoramic image, car recorder, to enhance driving safety under complex road conditions.

Specialised medical cabin design

Flexible space layout: short-axle/medium-axle models are available, the volume of medical cabin is about 5-8m³ (different modification options), and it can be equipped with folding seats, stretcher system, medical equipment cabinets, etc., with high space utilisation rate.

Compliance and safety: Comply with the national ambulance standard (GB19083), can be equipped with negative pressure system (for infectious disease transfer), non-slip floor, ultraviolet ray disinfection device and so on.

Humanised details: integrated power supply system (220V power supply/USB interface), LED lighting, independent control of air conditioning, safeguarding the needs of patients and medical staff.

Strong power: Equipped with Ford EcoBoost turbocharged petrol engine (e.g. 2.0T) or Duratorq diesel engine (e.g. 2.2T), the power output is smooth and responsive, which is suitable for frequent starting and stopping in the city and long-distance transfer at high speed.

Excellent handling: front-wheel drive design + MacPherson independent suspension, precise steering, chassis tuning for comfort and stability, reducing bumps on the way for patients.
